Why Asbestos Abatement Matters

Asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) were once common in construction materials, but are now known to pose serious health risks when disturbed. Left unmanaged, asbestos fibers can be released into the air during renovation, demolition, or damage, potentially causing long-term respiratory illnesses. Professional abatement ensures your property will be handled in compliance with State and Federal regulations creating a safe environment ready for occupancy

Our Asbestos Abatement Process

Our team follows strict procedures to ensure every project meets or exceeds state and federal safety standards

  1. Initial Inspection & Testing

A certified asbestos consultant inspects the property to locate asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). Samples are collected and sent to a certified lab for analysis.

  2. Permits & Regulatory Notifications

We handle all required notifications to state, local and federal agencies to secure any permits needed before work begins.

  3. Site Preparation & Containment

The work area is sealed with plastic sheeting and negative air pressure systems to prevent asbestos fibers from escaping the work area. Workers and equipment enter and exit the work area through decontamination chambers to ensure no contaminants leave the site.

  4. Safe Material Removal

ACMs such as drywall, plaster, insulation, or flooring are carefully moisten with water to minimize airborne fibers. Materials are removed by hand or with specialized tools, double-bagged, labeled, and disposed of at approved facilities.

  1. HEPA Cleaning

The work area, including containments are thoroughly wet-wiped and HEPA-vacuumed to remove any residual asbestos fibers.

  2. Clearance Testing

A third-party industrial hygienist conducts a visual inspection and air sampling to verify the site is free of asbestos fibers and meets regulatory clearance levels.

  3. Containment Removal & Final Walkthrough

After clearance, we remove all equipment and barriers, leaving the space clean, safe, and ready for reoccupancy.
